About The Role

As the Marketing Manager for GSF Car Parts, you will report into the Marketing Director, being responsible in leading a team to be collaborative and innovative individuals by designing and executing a multi-disciplined and omni-channel marketing and communications strategy, building a strong brand identity, with clear branding and image, developing effective customer segmentation tools, report on market & competitor insight, and market growth strategies.

The Marketing Manager will proactively set and control the marketing budget, delivering great return on investment lead whilst engaging and motivating the marketing team.

With our aim to be a flexible employer, this role offers hybrid working. 
 
Main Duties include:
 
  • Proactively brief the business on market opportunities 
  • Monitor, analyse and report on competitor and market activity
  • Create clear and useable segmentation to drive customer performance and spend
  • Analyse customer behaviour and segmentation to drive performance
  • Craft strategies for the Marketing team, including print & digital, product marketing, loyalty programs, and both internal and external incentives
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Creating strategic and tactical integrated plans across all business and customer channels
  • Building brands (Own and OE) to create business and customer engagement
  • Create clear brand principles and image that grows our awareness and market position
  • Build strong brand messages and consistent execution across all channels
  • Set, monitor, and report on team goals
  • Personal development of the marketing team & succession planning
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly & annual budgets for the marketing department
  • Develop new sources of income
Working hours: 

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About You

The successful candidate will be a vibrant individual from FMCG / Retail background who is innovative and creative when leading the way. You will be a democratic leader who is inclusive and leads by example with the ability to drive creativity, motivation and enthusiasm in others.
 
What you'll need to succeed:

  • Proven experience working within a marketing manager role, ideally within a FMCG/Retail, multi-site organisation
  • B2B and B2C experience
  • BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant field would be desirable
  • Professional chartered marketer (CIM) is advantageous
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals
  • Experience running successful marketing campaigns
  • Event management experience
  • Strong digital marketing knowledge
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Budget Management knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.) and Google Adwords
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Customer-oriented approach with aptitude
  • Motivated to drive team & own self-development
