At GSF Car Parts, our Product team play a crucial part in the development of our product offering and this is separated out in to various categories. As a Product Manager for Braking, you will be responsible in ensuring that category and business objects are achieved for this area, and will report in to the Head of Category.

Main Duties include:
- Working with the Category head develop and define the brand strategies within each of your categories which consider the market size, suppliers, competition, market share, growth and trends within the marketplace that will increase sales, profit and/or market share to ensure that our product offer and buying terms are optimised
- To effectively manage the life cycle of your categories, ensure that the stocking profiling programme is relevant for the needs of the business liaising with supply chain and procurement to ensure the category stock holding are effective
- Develop offer for sale from various sources and brand, managing system linking and alternative sources. Position products within various quality and brand tier levels.
- Review lost sales and conversion data to support development of core product offer
- Consolidate the product offer where required to support improved pricing, availability, or overall commercial offer.
- Working with the pricing team to ensure that the category pricing is positioned correct for the market while maximising the volume vs revenue mix
- Liaise with the catalogue teams to ensure market leading cataloguing information is available within Allicat
- Assist marketing and divisional leads the help design and implement compelling category & product information and promotional campaigns to drive categories
- Working with the Procurement team to identify the best sources for the products and brands within the categories to ensure that group objectives are achieved in terms of sales and margin
- Engage with branches to understand business and market requirements to assist with development and growth within a product group.
